The European Union does not support the initiative by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to issue non-biometric (old-type) passports to the residents of the occupied Crimea and the separatist-held areas of Donbas, Head of EU Delegation in Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli said at an opening of a caricature exhibit in Kyiv’s Taras Shevchenko City Park, titled “Ukraine’s path toward visa liberalization.”
