Large and medium-sized enterprises in Ukraine received UAH 153.218 billion, or US$5.9 billion, in profit before tax in 2017, which was 1.6 times higher than the figure of UAH 94.039 billion, or $3.6 billion, in 2016.
Financial performance of Ukraine’s profitable enterprises grew by 36.2 percent, to UAH 457.324 billion ($17.5 billion), while that of loss-making companies – by 25.8 percent over the year, to minus UAH 304.106 billion ($11.7 billion), according to the Ukrainian State Statistics Service website.
