Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman says the regulation of food prices in Ukraine has never been effective and has not allowed to halt consumer inflation.

“Prices have been regulated since the 90s. So, did they stop? No, they always grew. What does it mean? The regulation has never been effective. The only effective way is to increase the number of livestock and saturate the market with Ukrainian products,” he said during a Q&A hour in the Verkhovna Rada on June 22.
