No iPhone 7’s have been imported to Ukraine officially, as the country was not included in the “first wave” destinations for the official sales of Apple’s latest gadgets which started Sept. 26, Head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFS) Roman Nasirov said at a Cabinet meeting on Sept. 27.
“Over the last two weeks, our mobile teams have been working efficiently on checking imports of such goods as iPhone 7. The history repeats year after year, when new cell phones are being released and then getting imported mostly illegally. I want to tell everyone – all iPhone 7 phones are being brought to Ukraine illegally. They are not certified, and none of these phones have received official custom clearance,” he said.
