Protesters clash with police during a rally against trade with the occupied territories in Kyiv on February 19, 2017. More than a thousand protesters gathered in central Kyiv on Feb. 19 to support the three-week blockade of railroad between the coal-producing Russian-backed separatist east and the rest of Ukraine. The trade between the occupied territories and Kyiv continued despite a 34-month conflict that has claimed more than 10,000 lives.
