Russia-backed separatists attacked Ukrainian army positions in Donbas 50 times in the past 24 hours, with two Ukrainian soldiers reported as wounded in action (WIA).

“In the Donetsk sector, Ukrainian soldiers of Butivka coal mine, and the villages of Nevelske and Novotroyitske came under fire from 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms,” the press center of the headquarters of Ukraine’s military operations reported on Facebook April 19 morning.
