One Ukrainian soldier was wounded in fighting in eastern Ukraine in the past 24 hours, according to Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesman Andriy Lysenko.
“There was one wounded in action (WIA) as a result of militant armed provocation near the village of Stariy Aidar,” he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Dec. 16.
