A top manager of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine has commented on Russian President Vladimir Putin\’s statement on transit shipments of Russian gas to Europe via Ukraine: the disputes between Naftogaz and Russia\’s Gazprom have been settled, but Russia does not abide by the awards.

“Putin says that Russia is ready to preserve transit shipments of gas in case the dispute between the business entities is settled in the Stockholm arbitration. First of all, the two disputes (under the contracts for gas supply and gas transit) between Gazprom and Naftogaz have already been settled through arbitration. The problem is that Gazprom does not abide by the awards,” Naftogaz Chief Commercial Officer Yuriy Vitrenko said on Facebook.
