Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Liudmyla Denisova asks the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to find out the circumstances of the death of Ukrainian citizens in prisons located in Russian-occupied areas in Luhansk region.

“A number of deaths in prisons in occupied Luhansk region were reported last month. What is more, I have received information from prisoners and their relatives about cruelty, lack of medical care and improper conditions in penitentiary institutions,” she wrote on Facebook on September 7.
