According to the document, as of Aug. 1, the amount of Antonov’s debt to the Ukrainian budget was at Hr 706 million, while another Hr 565.8 million was accrued penalties for late payments. This law stipulates that the debt in the amount of Hr 706 million will be paid to the state within 10 years, and the penalty will be charged.
According to the authors of the bill, a substantial debt of Antonov emerged when in 2009 it merged with the Kyiv Aviation Plant Aviant, which at that time had accounts payable in the amount of Hr 1.9 billion.
