Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has had a telephone conversation with U.S. Vice President Joe Biden during which they discussed the importance of further policy of active engagement of the U.S. side in facilitating the implementation of the Minsk peace agreements on Donbas and restoration of Ukraine’s territorial integrity, according to the presidential press service.

US Vice President Joe Biden, on a three-day working visit to Ukraine, said the world's focus on Syria did not overshadow Western demands for Russia to adhere to a shaky Ukrainian peace agreement and to hand back Crimea to Kyiv. (AFP)
