UNIAN: Poroshenko considers US-led coalition airstrike in Syria compelled yet justified

A photo released early on April 14, on the website of the official Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) shows an explosion on the outskirts of Damascus after Western strikes reportedly hit Syrian military bases and chemical research centres in and around the capital. The United States, Britain and France carried out a wave of strikes against Bashar al-Assad's Syrian regime on Saturday in response to alleged chemical weapons attacks that President Donald Trump branded the "crimes of a monster."

This is a fair response to the fact of committing a brutal crime against humanity, that is a chemical attack in Douma on April 7, the president said.
