Members of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT), which investigates the MH17 crash in eastern Ukraine on July 17, 2014, say they are confident they have convincing evidence that the plane was downed by a missile of the 9M38 series, launched by a BUK-TELAR, according to the preliminary results of the criminal investigation.

On Sept. 28, the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) presents the first results of the criminal investigation into the downing of flight MH17 on July 17, 2014, according to the presentation posted on the Dutch Public Prosecution Service (OM) website.
