Russia has unreasonably refused to extradite Ukrainian political prisoners, Crimean residents Oleh Sentsov and Oleksandr Kolchenko to Ukraine, claiming they are Russian citizens, according to Ukrainian Deputy Justice Minister for European Integration Serhiy Petukhov.
“This ‘citizenship’ was forcibly imposed on all residents of Crimea along with the annexation of the peninsula. Both these actions by Russia are null and void under international law,” he wrote on Facebook.
