Ukraine’s balance of payments in January-August 2017 was reduced to a surplus of $1.282 billion, which is 2.4 times higher than the surplus for the same period last year at $533 million, the National Bank of Ukraine reported on its website.
In August, the balance of payments was reduced to a surplus of $518 million, which is 32 times higher than the surplus a year earlier, reads the report.
