Ukraine’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Volodymyr Yelchenko has appealed to Secretary General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres against the background of the escalation in Donbas and the shelling of Avdiyivka, the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the UN wrote on Twitter.
“Yelchenko in a letter to UN secretary-general: we demand from the Russian Federation to cease hostilities immediately and to comply strictly with the ceasefire,” the Mission tweeted.
