The total amount of public and publicly guaranteed debt of Ukraine at the end of December 2016 amounted to $70.97 billion, which is 8.3 percent, or by $5.47 billion, more than at the beginning of the year.

As reported on the website of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the total amount of public and publicly guaranteed debt in hryvnia equivalent at the end of December amounted to Hr 1,930 trillion, which is 22.7 percent or Hr 357.58 billion more than at the beginning of the year.
