A skirmish took place in the village of Hranitne near the port city of Mariupol: Ukrainian military forces repulsed the separatists attack, according to Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesman Andriy Lysenko.
“The Ukrainian troops repulsed the attack of militants on our fortified position in Hranitne,” he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Oct. 19, an UNIAN correspondent reported.
