Ukraine and the United States are working to open the U.S. market for Ukrainian corn and wheat, including organic, currently, the approval procedures are at the final stage, the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection said on the website on September 21.

The authority said that this issue was discussed at a meeting of representatives of the State Service and the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC).

“We are looking forward to the opening of the U.S. market for Ukrainian corn and wheat because this will create new prospects for business development and economic growth in the country,” Head of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection Vladyslava Mahaletska said.
