Volker hopes Ukraine and Russia to exchange hostages

U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker has said he hopes that exchange of people being kept both in Ukraine and Russia will occur.

Giving a commentary with Hromadske.ua during a March of Dignity in Kyiv on August 24, Volker said that for president it was of great importance to bring back home all, sailors first of all.

The U.S. special envoy also said he hoped in the nearest future to have a talk with Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov over the issue.

As reported, Ukrainian media actively discuss agreements on exchange of hostages under principle 33 for 33.
