The United States considers the presence of Russian soldiers in the Azov Sea as aggressive and provocative steps, U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations Kurt Volker has said.

We do not accept these claims of Russia to the shelves and we believe that the presence of Russian soldiers there are very aggressive provocative steps, he said at a briefing on the sidelines of the 15th YES Conference organized by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation in Kyiv on Sept. 15.

Volker added that the United States is concerned about this situation.
