Spokeswoman for Ukraine’s second president, representative of Ukraine in the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) Leonid Kuchma, Darka Olifer, has announced preparations for the mutual release of confirmed persons held in certain districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and kept in the penitentiary institutions of Ukraine.

“The humanitarian subgroup has confirmed the whereabouts of 69 of our citizens, whom we seek to free. There are 208 people who are requested by the opposite side in the institutions of the Ukrainian penitentiary system,” Olifer wrote on her Facebook page following the meeting of the TCG.

According to her information, agreements were reached in the shortest possible time to carry out work in two parallel directions: legal work and preparation for the mutual release of confirmed persons and further confirmation of the persons held.
