Xinhua: Kyiv sees sharp rise in foreign tourists

The number of overseas tourists visiting Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, has increased by 25 percent in 2017, the city council reported February 8.

According to the report, Kyiv last year welcomed 1.6 million foreign visitors compared with 1.28 million in 2016. The number of domestic tourists to Kyiv rose by about 18 percent in 2017 to 850,000 people.
