Head of Zakarpattia Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal has tendered his resignation.
A photocopy of the corresponding document addressed to the president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, was made public on Moskal’s official website.
“… I ask you to terminate my leave and accept my resignation from the position of the head of Zakarpattia Regional State Administration,” the statement dated April 23 said.
On April 22, their letters of resignation were filed by the head of Lviv Regional State Administration Oleh Syniutka and head of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration Oleksiy Savchenko.
Poroshenko appointed Moskal as Zakarpattia governor in July 2015.
Under Article 118 of the Constitution of Ukraine, heads of local administrations, including regional and district ones, shall be appointed and dismissed by the President of Ukraine after the Cabinet of Ministers submits a respective motion.
