You're reading: Zelenskiy expresses interest in cooperation in IT and cybersecurity with Estonia

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy and President of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid have discussed the prospect of enhancing trade and economic relations between the two countries and supporting the European integration aspirations of Ukraine.

According to the website of the Ukrainian head of state, Zelenskiy thanked Kaljulaid for personal attention to the issue of Estonia’s support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, as it was the first leader of a foreign country to visit the demarcation line in the east of the country.

Zelenskiy noted the efforts of Estonia in supporting the European aspirations of Ukraine.

In addition, he pointed out Estonia’s leading position in introducing modern technologies and expressed interest in cooperation with this country in the field of IT and strengthening cybersecurity.

The participants in the meeting noted the importance of intensifying trade and economic relations between Ukraine and Estonia.
