Candidate to the post of the President of Ukraine, showman Volodymyr Zelenskiy gave up his stake in Russian movie business in favor of the author of the Kvartal 95 studio Andriy Yakovlev, investigative journalists of from Schemes (Skhemy): Corruption in Details, an investigative program jointly run by local television station Pershyi and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.

The journalists said that according to the data from the register of companies in Cyprus, the founders of Green Family Ltd., which owns the movie business of Kvartal 95 in Russia, were changed. Zelenskiy, who was the co-founder of the company with his partners in Kvartal 95 (Yakovlev, Borys and Serhiy Shefyr) and Tymur Mindich, left the business.

At the moment, the shares in Green Family Ltd. are distributed as follows: Yakovlev – 400 euro, Borys Shefyr – 300 euro, Serhiy Shefyr – 300 euro, and Appex International Ltd of Mindich – 1,000 euro. However, at the beginning of this year, Zelensky’s share in Green Family Ltd. was 300 euro, say the investigative journalists said.

Green Family Ltd. is the founder of the Russian companies Green Films, Weisberg Pictures and Platinum Film. They continue working in Moscow.

On January 24, 2019, TSN (1+1 channel) reported that Zelenskiy left the company Green Family Ltd.
