Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expects that after the next meeting of foreign policy advisers to the leaders of the states of the Normandy format, four leaders of Ukraine, Germany, France and Russia can meet themselves.
“The Normandy format has not worked for two years. This is what we have already done: on July 12 there was the first meeting of our representatives and we agreed that there would be another meeting – more substantial, and four leaders will try to meet in one meeting. I think that this will bring us closer to a diplomatic solution to this issue,” he said in an interview with “Frankly with the President” shown on Ukrainian TV channels on Wednesday.
