Adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Member of Parliament-elect from the Servant of the People Party Nikita Poturaev has said there exist media in Russia which do not manipulate information and that it is permissible to work with them in order, to tell the truth about what is happening in Ukraine.

“I myself talked with Vladimir Solovyov [Kommersant journalist]. He was born in Odesa and grew up in Chisinau. He only moved to Moscow later. We must deal with those publications where it’s possible to deliver the unvarnished Ukrainian point of view. And the truth about that is happening in Ukraine,” Poturaev told the Kyiv-based detector. media ezine.

Poturaev said he does not think the interview given by Servant of the People Party leader Dmytro Razumkov to Kommersant damaged the image of the party.

Asked whether he would recommend talking with Russian journalist Olga Skabeeva (news presenter of the Russia-1 TV channel), Poturaev recommended asking Razumkov what he thinks. Poturaev added that he would not talk with Skabeeva.

“My feet won’t be there under any circumstances. I have given comments many times to the Dozhd TV channel [tvrain.ru]. I don’t think Kommersant would manipulate information,” he said.

The president’s advisor said there are practically no media left in Russia which can be considered professional.

“Novaya Gazeta, Dozhd, on some questions Kommersant and Ekho Moskvy (Echo of Moscow), but definitely not Russian Federation channels,” he said.
