President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has met with Pope Francis in Vatican on Feb. 8 to discuss peace in Ukraine.

“Pope Francis does everything possible to achieve peace and harmony throughout the world. Two months after the Normandy [Summit] in Paris I asked to help with the release of Ukrainian prisoners in Donbas, Crimea and Russia. Inspired by our conversation about peace in Ukraine,” Zelensky said on Twitter on Feb. 8.
