Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condoles with the attack in the Notre Dame church in Nice, which resulted in the death of three people, and underlines Ukraine’s solidarity with France.

“Terrible news from Nice: a barbaric attack at the Notre-Dame Basilica took the lives of three people. Sending the deepest condolences from the Ukrainian people. Ukraine stands with France against terror,” he wrote on Twitter on Oct. 29.

On the morning of Oct. 29, a man armed with a knife killed three people in the Notre Dame church in Nice. The attacker received a gunshot wound during the arrest. He is in the intensive care unit now.
