President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has met with President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev in Davos, Switzerland. Zelensky underlined the importance of investment in Ukraine’s infrastructure projects, enterprises and gas transportation system during the meeting.
The head of state also described his visit to Azerbaijan in December 2019 as fruitful, the presidential press service said on Wednesday, January 22.
“I believe that it not only took relations between our countries to a new level, but also was very hospitable,” Zelensky said.
The sides discussed the implementation of new projects with SOCAR, as well as the agreements which had been reached during the Ukrainian president’s visit to Azerbaijan.
