You're reading: Zelensky says Ukraine intends to return all occupied territories

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has emphasized that Ukraine intends to return all of its temporarily occupied territories in Donbas and Crimea.

“We don’t see solution to the conflict at all without returning our territorial integrity. We have a very big country. I know that grief like ours is in other countries. There is Georgia, Moldova … But Ukraine is too big country. There are several million Ukrainians [in the occupied territories of Donbas and Crimea]. Of course, we must return all our territories,” he said in an interview with Israeli Channel 9.

“I’m not even talking about international institutions, courts. This is a serious precedent for the whole world that this is possible. And this is the worst. This is terrible and bad. If we don’t return our territories in Ukraine, I’m sure that’s not the last story,” Zelensky said.
