Ukraine does not have a plan for regaining control over Crimea similar to the Steinmeier plan on Donbas, so the Ukrainian army should boost its fighting capabilities, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said.
“Currently, there is no such formula. This story is very complicated. You are aware that this, Ukraine, regrettably, I have to admit, regrettably, Ukraine won’t handle this alone. We need the help of our international partners, we must have a stronger army,” Zelensky told the Crimea. Realities publication when asked whether there was a Steinmeier-style formula for Crimea.
“We need to be very strong so as to have not only our diplomacy working but also an army of the really high level,” Zelensky said.
