President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree that enacts the National Defense and Security Council of Ukraine (NSDC) decision on some issues of enhancing the process of peaceful settlement of the situation in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

“In accordance with Article 107 of the Constitution of Ukraine, I decide to put into effect the National Defense and Security Council of Ukraine (NSDC) decision on some issues of enhancing the process of peaceful settlement of the situation in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, dated June 2, 2021. […] Monitoring the implementation of the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, put into effect by this decree, to entrust the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine,” according to the text of the document released on the president’s website.

The decree comes into force on the day of its publication.
