You're reading: Zelensky withdraws Kryvonos from interagency commission on defense policy

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky by his decree dismissed Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Serhiy Kryvonos from the post of chairman of the interdepartmental working group for preparing proposals to strengthen the defense capability of the state and removed him from the interdepartmental commission for military-technical cooperation and export control.

According to decree No. 869/2019 posted on the presidential website, Zelensky removed Kryvonos from the interdepartmental commission for military-technical cooperation and export control, removing him from the post of chairman of this commission.

“Remove Kryvonos from the post of chairman of the interdepartmental working group on preparing proposals to strengthen the defense capability of the state,” the second paragraph of this decree says.

By the same decree, Zelensky ordered that the decrees and clauses by which Kryvonos was included in these commissions become invalid.

This decree comes into force from the day of its publication.
