Angela Merkel, the Chancellor of Germany plans to meet Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia against the tensions between the West and Russia due to the Syria Conflict. Also, the leaders discussed the Donbas Conflict and the construction of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline as DW reported.
Earlier during the phone call, Merkel partially accused Russia of the chemical attack that took place in Douma on April 7. She said that Moscow as an ally of Bashar al-Assad is also responsible for the use of the chemical weapons.
