Eugene Shevchuk, former self-proclaimed “president” of unrecognized Transnistria, may face 20 years in prison in Moldova. Lawyers from the Promo-Lex made a research on the issue, the Point reports.

“Former Tiraspol leader may be brought to criminal responsibility in the Republic of Moldova. According to the research by the lawyers, there are at least three crimes committed by Shevchuk, including – usurpation of state authority is one of them, this may bring 12 – 20 years in prison,” reads the message.
