Aljazeera: Trump says US-North Korea talks in New York ‘very positive’

US President Donald Trump has said that a denuclearization deal with Pyongyang might require more than one meeting, as he indicated “very positive” progress in talks between US and North Korean officials in New York.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo met top North Korean official Kim Yong-chol for a second day on May 31. They are believed to have discussed the prospect of a breakthrough summit in Singapore on June 12.
