You're reading: Armenia reports 489 new СOVID-19 cases, 16 deaths

YEREVAN – Armenian doctors have diagnosed 489 people with COVID-19 over the past 24 hours, and the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country has reached 31,392, Armenia’s unified information center said on July 11.

According to the information center, 16 patients with COVID-19 have died over the past 24 hours, and a total number of coronavirus-related fatalities in Armenia have reached 719. “Out of them, 559 people died directly from coronavirus and another 180 from other causes,” the center said.

A total of 19,419 people recovered from COVID-19 in Armenia, including 710 in the past 24 hours.

Armenia conducted 1,888 COVID-19 diagnostic tests over the past day.
