TBILISI – Georgian doctors diagnosed nine people with coronavirus over the past 24 hours, and the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reached 1,394 in the country, the Georgian Health Ministry said on August 22.

According to the ministry, 6,903 people remain in quarantine and 278 people remain under medical supervision in hospitals. A total of 1,132 people have recovered from COVID-19 and 17 died.
