President Trump in a series of tweets early August 19 morning lashed out at Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe, comparing it to McCarthyism, while denouncing the media once again as the “enemy of the people” and accusing Democrats of colluding during the 2016 election.
“No Collusion and No Obstruction, except by Crooked Hillary and the Democrats. All of the resignations and corruption, yet heavily conflicted Bob Mueller refuses to even look in that direction. What about the Brennan, Comey, McCabe, Strzok lies to Congress, or Crooked’s Emails!,” the president railed in one of five tweets about the investigation, naming former members of the US intelligence community he has threatened to remove security clearances from.
