Reuters: Israeli raid in Syria killed Iranians

A picture released by the official Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) the damage following a car bomb explosion that shook the Syrian capital's Damascus Commercial Tower on May 9, 2018. A shelling and a car bomb blast in Syria's capital Damascus killed two people and wounded several others today, state television said. It reported "two killed and 14 wounded in terrorist attacks on Damascus Tower and Maysat Square". The shell struck at the tower in the central Marjeh Square district while the car bomb went off in the northeast of the city.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Wednesday an Israeli attack on Iranian military facilities south of Damascus had killed at least 15 people, including eight Iranians.

The reports of an Israeli attack in Kisweh late on May 9 emerged after U.S. President Donald Trump announced he was pulling out of the Iranian nuclear deal.
