DA NANG, Vietnam – Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump did not speak at the reception in honor of APEC country leaders in Vietnam.
Putin and Trump greeted each other by shaking hands at a joint photo ceremony, after which all leaders proceeded to the hall to attend a reception hosted by the Vietnamese leader.
As of 18:30 Moscow time, the presidents apparently had not had chance to talk, an Interfax correspondent reported. Trump left the reception hall prior to the end of the ceremony, while Putin remained there till its conclusion.
