MINSK – All people detained in the Minsk office of the unregistered human rights center Vyasna on Saturday have been released from the Minsk Pervomaisky interior affairs department, the center said on its website.

“They started releasing the detainees from the police department around 3:00 p.m.,” the report said.

According to Vyasna, 57 people, including international observers, representatives of foreign media organizations and human rights organizations, were detained in the office of the center around 1:00 p.m. A seminar for observers, who were going to monitor he opposition rally devoted to the Day of Will, was taking place there at that time.

Anastasia Loiko, a lawyer with the organization, was quoted as saying in the report that “absolutely all detainees have been released.” According to her information, the people were released in groups. One person was hospitalized because he had been hurt during the search and detention.
