As of July 15, Russia has lost 1,036,290 troops after launching its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022 – including 1,230 troops over the past day, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU).
Russian casualties in Ukraine surpassed one million on June 16.
The figures include all troops who are put out of action for some time due to deaths or injuries.
Russian equipment losses in Ukraine so far
The General Staff, in its daily update, also listed Russia’s total recorded equipment losses as follows:
- 22,993 armored fighting vehicles (including six over the past day)
- 55,147 vehicles and fuel tanks (including 122 over the past day)
- 30,346 artillery systems (including 52 over the past day)
- 45,880 drones (including 245 over the past day)
- 11,022 tanks (including three over the past day)
- 1,440 multiple launch rocket systems (including two over the past day)
- 1,194 anti-aircraft systems
- 421 airplanes
- 340 helicopters
- 28 ships and boats
- one submarine
The General Staff said it recorded 185 clashes across the front on Monday, July 14.
