Russia Attacks Dnipro With Jet-Powered UAV, Injures Woman

A Russian UAV attack triggered an explosion in Dnipro, a major city in central-eastern Ukraine, in the early hours of Thursday. Ukraine’s Air Force had warned that enemy drones were moving toward the city. The latest attack followed a deadly Russian strike in the early hours of Wednesday that damaged homes and a food warehouse in Dnipro, killing two people and injuring six.

Russian forces attacked Dnipro, a major city in central-eastern Ukraine, again in the early hours of Thursday, injuring a 58-year-old woman.

The strikes occurred in the early hours of Thursday, injuring a 58-year-old woman, Dnipropetrovsk regional governor Oleksandr Hanzha said.

“Medics provided her with assistance at the scene – she will receive outpatient treatment,” he reported.

The strike damaged an apartment on the fifth floor of a five-story residential building. The blast wave also damaged several nearby buildings, blowing out windows, according to the regional governor.

Before the strike, Ukraine’s Air Force warned that enemy drones were moving toward Dnipro, including from the north and east.

The latest attack came less than a day after a deadly Russian overnight strike on Dnipro killed two people and wounded six, damaging residential buildings and a food warehouse.
