After nearly 40 years of service with the SNCF, the French railway company, Xavier Wanderpepen is now a consultant for railway freight projects.
From 2014 to 2015, he was appointed as a mission officer for the French Ministry of Transport and the Ukrainian Ministry of Infrastructure in Kyiv, focusing on the development of railway and multimodal corridors in Ukraine.
He was the Director of Europe-China trains for the New Silk Roads at Forwardis, a subsidiary of SNCF, from 2018 to 2022.
