Role Overview

We are looking for a commercially driven PR & Digital Media Sales Executive with strong PR thinking and a B2B mindset.

This role sits at the intersection of public relations, media distribution, and commercial partnerships. You will work with brands, institutions, and organizations to design and deliver PR-driven campaigns, while building revenue streams around Kyiv Post’s media and distribution capabilities.

This role is ideal for someone with a background in PR, communications, or media sales, who understands both how narratives are built and how they are monetized.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. PR Distribution & Revenue (Ukraine, Core Focus – ~70–80%)

  • Drive revenue through press release distribution across Ukrainian media and newswire channels
  • Build and manage relationships with PR agencies, corporates, NGOs, and government entities
  • Ensure strong execution, visibility, and performance of PR campaigns across local media

 

2. Global PR & Newswire Expansion (~20–30%)

  • Develop and sell international press distribution via global newswire platforms
  • Position Kyiv Post as a gateway for Ukrainian stories to reach global audiences
  • Support cross-border PR campaigns and international client needs

 

3. Executive & Stakeholder Positioning

  • Work with senior leadership (CEO, Publisher, leadership team)
  • Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance executive visibility
  • Secure placements and manage positioning across media channels

 

4. Client PR Strategy & Integrated Campaigns

  • Advise clients on messaging, narrative development, and campaign structure
  • Design integrated PR campaigns across Kyiv Post’s ecosystem (website, newsletters, media distribution, sponsored content)
  • Extend campaigns into digital and social channels where relevant
  • Optimize campaign structure, timing, and distribution for reach and impact

 

5. Special Projects & Revenue Initiatives

  • Develop and support monetizable initiatives such as:
    • Video formats and storytelling series
    • Events, roundtables, and conferences
    • Sponsored editorial and branded content
    • Strategic partnerships and grants
  • Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and production teams

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in PR, communications, media sales, or B2B partnerships
  • Strong understanding of how PR and media ecosystems work, including press distribution, media relations, and narrative positioning
  • Experience in developing and selling commercial special projects in media and PR
  • Experience working with clients (agencies, corporates, institutions) and managing relationships end-to-end
  • Ability to structure and sell integrated campaigns (press, media, digital) rather than standalone services
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English (B2+ level)
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-context environment and quickly understand complex topics

Nice to Have (Bonus, Not Required)

  • Experience selling integrated media packages (media placement + events + branded content + social campaigns)
  • Existing network of influencers, agencies, or media buyers
  • Experience structuring multi-channel campaigns combining PR, social, and content
