She did it again.
U.S. model and actress Emily Ratajkowski has made a public appearance in yet another Ienki Ienki puffer while strolling the streets of wintry New York on Jan. 14.
Having been noticed in snazzy outerwear by the Ukrainian brand on multiple occasions, this time Ratajkowski picked a beige jacket from the recent autumn-winter 2020-2021 collection.
Ienki Ienki puffers proved to be a hit on the global fashion map, selling in over 300 stores and making their way into the wardrobes of top style icons like Bella and Gigi Hadid and Kourtney Kardashian.
But Ratajkowski is among the label’s biggest fans. And after she announced her pregnancy in the fall, puffer jackets became an essential piece of her maternity wardrobe.
For her walk around Big Apple, Ratajkowski combined the Shearling Lizzy Jacket with a pair of blue jeans, a white bodysuit and Nike Air Force 1 sneakers. A pair of sunglasses and gold hoops topped off the look.
Ratajkowski is no stranger to Ukrainian-made garments when choosing her look. The celebrity was previously spotted in Ienki Ienki’s Michlin piece in ultra red and orange colors and another red Mishko Jacket Maroon model.
She also has a soft spot for mini dresses by the elegant prêt-à-porter label Bevza.
Ienki Ienki emerged in Kyiv in 2016 with business mastermind Dmitriy Ievenko behind it. Through what was at first a monobrand, which now crafts garments and accessories for women, men and children, Ievenko wanted to make outerwear that wouldn’t sacrifice high quality for style.
The brand’s linchpin silhouette was inspired by Michelin Man, the mascot of the French tire company, with a belt around the waist to form an hourglass shape. Ienki Ienki experiments boldly with color palettes and prints.
The label’s website says that the team is thrilled to see so many inspirational models, editors and stylists wear their apparel, but notes that “just to see how ordinary people wear and appreciate our jackets is real praise.”
“Knowing that Ienki Ienki has received such a positive response from both celebrities and the general public, we feel proud and it makes us happy.”
