The political leadership of Finland refused to visit Russia for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2018, which is to kick on June 14. Andriy Olefirov, the ambassador of Ukraine in Finland, tweeted this on late June 12.

Previously, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said she had no reason to refuse from visiting the country for the World Cup; her French counterpart Emmanuel Macron also said he would join the event.
